This is a wonderful, graphic, Amish child's quilt. It is 45" by 64". The small size makes it perfect for display on a wall, although it certainly can be used on a bed or as an accent piece. The price is $475.00. Inventory Code: AKHH. Amish child's quilt ... Closeup ... Second closeup ... Third closeup ... Back ... Closeup of back.

One of several original Mexican Sombreros. They are all in excellent condition, and are not new. They appear to be from the last quarter of the 20th c., or possibly older and are wonderful, decorative objects - in addition to being just the right headwear for that "special" occasion. This sombrero is a very splashy black velvet decorated top and bottom with applied, silver and white braid and multicolored sequins. It is in excellent condition, and measures 24" across. You can see the rest on our Sombreros page. The price is $125.00. Inventory Code: AHHW. Top view ... Closeup of top ... Bottom view ... Side view.
This is a detailed carved assemblage of a man driving two horses and a wagon. The man has jointed arms and legs, a separately carved hat, and round-headed pins for eyes. He is holding the reins in one hand and a whip in the other. The horses are carved, with what looks like plaster or some sort of composition material for manes, and plastic eyes. They have intricate harness made from wood, wire, chain, and vinyl or plastic straps, with decorative pins. The wagon has articulated steering, and the wheels would turn if they were not wired to the base.
The piece is 26" long by 6 1/2" wide by 12" high. It is most likely from the mid-20th century. The condition is very good, with minor loss to the horses' manes. The wire attaching the horses and wagon to the base appears to have been replaced. The price is $595.00. Inventory Code: CWAP. Carved man, horses, and wagon ... Side view ... The other side ... This is a carved whimsey that is very interesting in that it seems to have been a work in progress. The balls are still fixed, yet all the hard work was done, so they could have been released easily. The piece has nice form and a naturally aged and darkened surface. It was likely made in the 1940's or so, is 14" long by 1 1/4" square, and in excellent condition. The price is $110.00. This is a wood carving that has two faces on opposite sides. They have qualities that resemble the stone heads of Easter Island. The piece is just under 16" high by 3 1/2" wide by 5 1/2" deep. It is done in hardwood, probably walnut, that has been highlighted with darker stain. The carving is in good condition, with very minor age cracks. It likely was done about the 1940's or so. This is part of a small collection by the same unknown artist. You can see some others here. The price is $325.00. Inventory Code: TKPC. Carving with two faces, with a soda can for scale ...
