Artisans and your Privacy

The general policy of Artisans is to protect the privacy of users of our services.
It is our intent to give you as much control as possible over your privacy in regard to your personal information and the use we make of it in the course of our business. In general, you can visit Artisans on the Web without telling us who you are or revealing any individual information about yourself.

The short of it is that any and all information about you that we get in any manner, is kept private for our own use only. What Information We Gather and Track

When you request updates, we require you to fill out a form with your name and email address. For other requests or orders you make, we may ask for an address or phone number.

In addition, our statistics programs track information about which pages of our site are visited, how often, when, and how visitors find our site. None of this information is correlated to any of your personal information. In other words, we may know how many people look at a given page, but we do not know what pages you personally look at unless you tell us.

At any time you may do so by clicking the unsubscribe link in any of our update messages, or by sending a message to us which will indicate you wish to be removed from one or more lists.
With either message, include your email address(es). It is very helpful to us if you can also refer to the specific mailing that was sent that prompted your request.

The information gathered from the forms you fill out is used in one of three ways:
1. to provide you with information about our products, services, news and events,
2. to allow you to purchase our products, and,
3. to gather broad demographic information about user trends.
