There are not many Lewis Smith drawings done on cardboard, and only a very few that are large.

Wild West -Tough Cowgirls: Image ... Close-up 1 ... Close-up 2. 27" by 27", Crayon, ink, and marker on the separated top layer of corrugated cardboard. This was pulled out of Smith's collapsed house. Fair condition with some creasing, dirt, and a few small punctures. LS67: $2900.00.
In line with his usual use of recycled materials, this two sided drawing in crayon and ballpoint pen was done on an irregularly-shaped piece of heavy card stock, probably the insert from a shirt package. Yoders Store The store burned in 1955. The drawing is 18" by 9 1/4" and was done in crayon and marker on a Kozy Kitten Cat Food box. The back has further writing on it. It is in excellent condition.
